Not Afraid to Fail

Room to Think isn’t dead or gone. At first I was weepy, thinking of something wonderful and precious being gone. Then I saw my friend Gary Ballew and we did our riff on risk and experimentation and not being afraid to try something; not letting fear stop you from trying things and not feeling bad when something doesn’t work.

Room to Think did work and does work. So Gary and I hatched a plan. Room to Think is officially invited back to the Library. Right now we can offer the Seminar Room again, M,T,W,F from 9:30-3:00. That room is now reserved for Room to Think through the end of December.

Gary and I might be twins separated at birth except that I am about eighty years older than he is and his red hair is natural.

  • Ann, I greatly look forward to meeting you this evening. In addition, we should grab coffee at my favorite little spot, Barracuda on Van Giesen. Lastly, I think you should get on Twitter. It’s a place for connection. Obviously, you’re in to that sort of thing (as am I)!

Ann you never cease to make me smile. We need more people like you. Thanks for stopping by tonight at the get together.
